FOAM
FLEX XP-1 is a MDI-based isocyanate which
transforms into a semi-rigid polyurethane foam when
in contact with water. This water-reactive grout is
specially designed and formulated injection into
leaking concrete, masonry or brickwork, to stop the
flow of water. The material is solvent free, and
therefore non-flammable and easy to apply.
The
reaction time can be adjusted by adding FOAM-LYST
(catalyst). By restraining the natural expansion
created by this reaction, a strong closed cell
semi-rigid foam is formed, providing a permanent
barrier to the ingress of water.
FOAM
FLEX XP-1
forms an excellent barrier against water seepage
caused by hydroscopic pressure, has good chemical
resistance and is non-toxic once cured.

FOAM
FLEX XP-1 can be
injected by motor driven or manual pump together with
the required mechanical packers. Technical experience
in operating equipment, and site assessment for
suitability of application, may be necessary. It is
recommended that pressurized grouting at the same
position for two times to ensure no water leakage.

Store in cool dry areas. Temperatures above 50 C may
cause premature formation of insoluble solids. Good house keeping is essential
in areas where chemical spillage is likely to occur. Partly used drums should be
tightly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture. To increase the materials life
expectancy, partially used drum should be filled with Nitrogen and sealed
tightly to prevent moisture contamination.

Skin
: Contact with skin may result in irritation.
Eyes : A mild to moderate eye irritant.
Inhalation : Vapour may result in
headaches, dizziness & possible nausea.
Wash with plenty of water immediately and consult a Physician in all
cases.
Wear goggles, rubber glove, full clothing when handling raw
materials.
MSDS shall be available upon request.
